Booking & Availability
Bookings can be made directly through our website. Once your time is selected and payment is completed, your booking is confirmed. If you need further assistance, please reach out to us via e-mail hello@thealcoveroom.ca
You can book as far in advance as availability allows. We recommend booking early for weekends and peak times.
All bookings are non-refundable. If you need to cancel, we offer a credit to be used toward a future booking (with proper notice).
The Space
The Alcove room is perfect for:
- Intimate gatherings
- Workshops & Classes
- Content Creation
- Meetings
- Wellness sessions (yoga, pilatoes, etc.)
The space is designed for small, intimate experiences. The capacity limit of 50 people must be respected at all times.
Yes — your booking gives you exclusive access to the space for the duration of your reservation.
Time & Access
Yes — your reservation time includes both setup and cleanup.
We ask that you arrive and leave within your booked time. Additional time may be available for a fee if arranged in advance.
Amenities & Add-Ons
The Alcove Room includes curated furniture, décor, a full-sized fridge with freezer, beverage fridge, kitchen space, Nespresso machine and kettle, 65” Samsung The Frame TV, 55” Samsung The Frame TV, 3 six-foot tables, 20 resin chairs, beverage dispenser. Specific items may change over time.
Yes! Add-ons may include:
- Biodegradable dinnerware & cutlery
- Projector (subject to availability)
- Extra tables and chairs
Food & Drink
Yes, outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome
If you choose to serve alcohol you will need to get a permit through AGCO and Party Alcohol Liability Insurance.
Décor & Setup
Yes, light decorating is welcome! We just ask:
- No nails, screws, tape or wall damage
- Everything must be removed after your booking
- No glitter or confetti
Policies
Yes, a refundable deposit may be required. Any damages or excessive cleaning may result in additional charges.
The renter is responsible for any damages caused during their booking.
We may have a no-shoe policy in certain areas to maintain the space — details will be provided before your booking.
To ensure accessibility and comply with regulations, only service animals are allowed. Please inform us before arrival.
Other
The Alcove Room is intentionally designed for smaller, intimate gatherings. If you have something special in mind, reach out—we’re happy to explore options.
